Ever since I saw this article in Town and Country 7 years ago…
I’ve been dreaming of staying on a farm. A farm stay.
Featherdown Farms seems to be the perfect place.
You sleep in a tent.
A furnished tent with a cozy bed, a wood stove and a toilet.
It’s called glamping.
More comfy than camping…
but still with that outdoorsy charm.
Jumping out of bed to fire up the stove; unzipping and rolling up the front of the tent to let the view in; laying the table for your family feast; collecting eggs from the Chicken Coop; a trip to the Honesty Shop for bacon and milk…
Bringing my son to a farm like this is at the top of my wish list.
I want him to experience this kind of life…
and gather eggs for his own little breakfast.
