Baby and Kid Swap Meets

Kid-Swap-3 Kid-Swap-2 Kid-Swap-1

I love buying gently used or “pre-loved” baby and kids clothes. Now that we know we’re having a girl, we went to a local Baby and Kid Swap Meet and bought some adorable girl’s clothes. It sure was fun! We frequented the swaps when Henrik was a baby too. It’s the best way to get a variety of clothes, books, toys and anything you can imagine for a great price.

1. ($35) Danish design Tiny Minimo. I’d never heard of  them before but love me some Scandinavian kids clothes!

2. ($12) PARADE – local (Vancouver) company and organic cotton.

3. ($6) Flannel blankets, band shirt, leggings, BabyGap onesie dress and Missoni for Target baby blanket (for only $1).

We also got my son some rain boots, books and t-shirts and he had a blast playing in the kids area.

Have you been to a Swap Meet or similar?  If you’re in the Vancouver area, there is a great resource at Kids Vancouver.

  1. I was just at a swap sale this past weekend!! And have become rather addicted to my local swap page as well… Really the best way to be frugal and green with baby/kids stuff! Here’s my post about swap pages:
